Dine at one of the areas wonderful restaurants or make your own breakfasts, lunches or dinners in our full kitchen with a coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, range-top and oven. Pots, pans, flatware and dishes provided.

Screened in gazebo for enjoying a lovely breakfast, lunch or dinner while looking over acres of forest. Upstairs sleeping loft with a bathroom, shower, one queen size and two single beds. Living room has a new queen size sleeper sofa. Linens provided.

Enjoy the whole cottage all to yourself. Built first as a part of a working farm, then as a potter’s studio, this charming cottage is a dream for relaxing, writing, enjoying nature, and exploring our wonderful area.

Window enclosed area on screened porch for comfortable sleeping, or just relaxing on the couch, reading and listening to the sounds of the north woods. When the mood strikes, walk our trails throughout the 19 acres. We have seen fox, bear, deer, Pileated, Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers.

Established in 2005 as a summer and fall get away. Blocks from Lake Superior, walking distance to downtown Washburn, close to Bayfield and Ashland. Where you will find coffee shops, art galleries, and wonderful book stores. The Chequamegon Bay area is great for swimming, sailing, kayaking, biking and hiking. We are open spring through the fall when you can visit Apple Fest in Bayfield, the Whistle Stop Race, and view the beautiful colors of the northwoods, just to name a few activities.

No phone service but most cell phones work. Free WiFi Internet available. TV monitor, VCR and DVD player and videos.

Pet our new arrivals, Cheyenne and Maiden. Sister mini-horses. They are extremely gentle and love treats.

We cannot accommodate motorized recreational vehicles.

Special Offerings:
Let us arrange a special evening for you. We can secure tickets to
Big Top Chautauqua or Stage North Theater and reservations to one of our wonderful restaurants for dinner before or afterward. Send in the ticket fare with your lodging deposit. Theater tickets are non refundable unfortunately.
